How To Enjoy A Delicious Barbeque At Home Without Using The
Grill
Although barbeque grills are great cooking tools, you do not necessarily need them to cook
some mouth watering barbeque. Yes, it would be nice to be able to grill something in open air but if you happen to
live in those cramped up windowless apartments in the heart of the metropolis, you might as well forget about
the idea of grilling something inside your home. According to experts, grilling inside a closed room is not a good
idea. The smoke that comes out from your grill can make you sick or if you are not careful it could even kill you.
Carbon monoxide is deadly. Besides, you don't want the smoke coming out from your grill to trip the fire alarms in
your apartment building. That would be downright embarrassing not to mention a potential cause for you to get
kicked out of your home. To help you enjoy a barbeque at home without the grill, here are some really easy steps
for you.
1. Use Quality Meat
You need to have the right kind of meat to make delicious barbeque. If you are one of
those people who are fond of ribs, you should get the best ribs available in your local meat shop. On the other
hand, if you love chicken, get some fresh chicken meat. Organically grown chickens are better than those
commercially grown ones. You may not be aware of it but those commercially grown birds are exposed to a lot of
chemicals and antibiotics which may be harmful to the body. On the other hand, organically grown chickens are free
from harmful chemicals and contaminants so they make perfect barbeque. Yes, organically grown chickens are a bit
more expensive than those commercially grown ones but it you love barbeque and you value your health, you just have
to shell out a few more bucks for organically grown birds.
2.Seasoning Your Meat
Once you have your meat ready, sprinkle some seasoning salt on it. You may use plain
salt and pepper or some of those pre-mixed salt seasoning. I like to use a nice mix of barbecue seasonings that you
can pick up from any grocery store. Sprinkle your salt seasoning liberally on the meat. After seasoning go ahead
and wrap the meat in foil and place it in a roasting pan. Make sure that the meat touches the bottom of your pan
before you pour a bottle of barbeque sauce into it. Mix the meat and the barbeque sauce with your hands, it won't
hurt ya promise.
3. Cooking - Getting Close To The Good Part
Once you're done, put the roasting pan filled with meat and barbecue sauce into the oven
at about 350. Check it every once in a while in between. If you like it sticky like I do then when it is close to
gettin done go ahead and turn the oven on low broil and watch as the sauce starts to get nice n sticky to the meat.
Careful though you don't want to burn. Not much anyway.
4. The Best Part - Eating
It takes about 1 to 2 hours before your barbecue is ready to devour. Make sure to be
careful though as the barbecue sauce can be hot and sticky when done. You don't want to burn the roof of your
mouth. You might want to wait a few minutes for it to cool aff a bit. That extra bit of time will also give the
sauce some more time to get a bit stickier. My mouth is watering at the thought. Now go enjoy a great in house
barbecue from the oven.
